Rony Mikhael is a Creative Director, Designer & Brand Strategist.
Curious and pragmatic, Rony works to bring beauty into commercial and cultural environments through thoughtfully designed visual, physical, and ultimately, visceral experiences. His work has spanned the disciplines of graphic design, brand strategy and identity design, UI and UX design, advertising, copywriting, photography, video production, motion graphics, music production, lettering, illustration, packaging, editorial design, environmental design, and product design. He has a deep curiosity about how to design better human experiences and sweats the details with his eyes on the big picture to make it happen.
After years of helping to build up various agencies, his focus narrowed in to marry design with the operational inner working of companies, focusing on developing people, process, and product. His aim is to focus primarily on using design to impact and inspire people for the better, with uncompromising empathy, working closely with likeminded purpose-driven people and enterprises.
Rony is a creative director, designer, and brand strategist based in Hamilton, Canada.
Equipped with over a decade of working formally in the creative industry, he founded Studio Mined, a branding and design consultancy. Through this firm and independent consulting, he leverages years of experience working in multiple agencies and in-house roles to build up and lead their creative product, processes and people.
In this manner, he serves agencies and client companies as a fractional design executive, bringing a deep empathy and pragmatism to infuse true creative into these organizations.
He brings decades of experience of creative industry, being entrusted with the vision and brand expressions of start-ups to global enterprises, building and bolstering agency teams and their culture, as well as starting and running entertainment and FMGC companies since he was in high school.
After years of working within agency settings, he now consults with a vast array of companies to design and develop strategic brand identities, design systems, organiational culture, visual and verbal storytelling, a digital experiences.
He believes that a thoughfully designed brand experiences considers the external and internal stakeholder experiences alike, recogniing those who work within organizations as the truest expression of a brand's identity.
